Traditional FUE (Follicular Unit Excision) is a hair transplant procedure that involves extracting individual hair follicles from the scalp and transplanting them into bald or thinning areas of the scalp.
During an FUE procedure, the surgeon uses a specialised instrument to extract individual hair follicles from the donor area of the scalp. The extracted follicles are then transplanted into the recipient area of the scalp, where they are carefully placed to create a natural-looking hairline and density.
Results are very natural, and are generally seen from 6-12 months after the procedure is carried out.
We extract/harvest individual hair follicles from the donor area (typically the back and sides of head). Using a micro-punch of no more than 0.9mm, we carefully select the multi-haired and single follicles to ensure you get maximum density and coverage.
The surgeon makes tiny incisions in the recipient area using a specialised blade or punch. These channels or incisions, are made to accommodate the transplanted hair follicles (grafts) and ensure a natural-looking hair pattern.
Implantation requires that of specialised technique that offers the most natural and undetectable result. The doctor will use a forcepts to place the hair grafts into channels he has created in Step 2.
